SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Rebecca Ann Hancock of Woodburn, who
4passed away on December 30, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Rebecca Hancock was born on March 2, 1958 in Wood
6River; her parents were William Gene Hanner and Betty Jeane
7(nee Carter) Hanner; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Rebecca Hancock was a homemaker; she was a
9graduate of Bunker Hill High School, Class of 1976, and a
10Sunday school teacher at Country Bible Church; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Rebecca Hancock was preceded in death by her
12mother; her brother, John Hanner; and her nephew, Ryan Hanner;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Rebecca Hancock is survived by her father; her
15husband of 36 years, Lewis Hancock; her children, Christopher
16Hancock and Timothy (Cindy) Hancock; her grandchildren,
17Danielle Warner, Timmy Hancock, and River Hancock; her
18brothers, Mike Hanner, Jim (Deb) Hanner, Kenny (Deb) Hanner,
19and Danny (Dee) Hanner; her nieces and nephews, Misty, Dea,
20Sara, Tara, Jason, Michael, Teddy, Jake, Luke, Wes, Kyle, and
21Jake P.; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Rebecca Ann Hancock;
4and be it further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Rebecca Hancock as an expression of
7our sympathy.
