SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Kathleen A. Wood of Beach Park, who 
4passed away on December 12, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Kathleen Wood was born on October 25, 1962 in 
6Joliet; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Kathleen Wood was a fun-loving and compassionate 
8person, as well as a fervent animal lover; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Kathleen Wood was preceded in death by her fiance, 
10Michael Nathans; and

  
 
11    WHEREAS, Kathleen Wood is survived by her daughter, 
12Kimberly, who provided devoted care during the last few months 
13of her mother's life; her grandchildren, Rayann and Gavin; her 
14parents, Doris and Willis; her brothers, Michael and James 
15(Cheryl); her rescue cats, Midge and BaBa; her many other 
16relatives; and her dear friends; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
19family and friends, mourn the passing of Kathleen A. Wood; and 
20be it further
