SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Orpha L. Krapf of Springfield, who passed
4away on January 2, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Orpha Krapf was born on June 29, 1920 in Joliet;
6her parents were William and Edith (nee Vance) Ruthenbeck; she
7married Floyd Krapf in 1941; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Orpha Krapf retired from Horace Mann after many
9years of service; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Orpha Krapf was very involved with ministries at
11church and community social services; she also loved spending
12time with her family; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Orpha Krapf was preceded in death by her husband,
14Floyd; her parents; her daughter, Lynne Krapf; and her sister,
15Naomi Goist; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Orpha Krapf is survived by her children, William
17(Kathleen) Krapf, Judi Keller, Peg Booker, and Laurel Patkes;
18her grandchildren: Kimberly (Chris), Kelly, Kyle, Steve
19(Mandy), Michelle (Terry), Dawn, and Melissa (Peter); her
20several great-grandchildren; and her sister, Shirley Condon;

1therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her
4family and friends, mourn the passing of Orpha L. Krapf; and be
5it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Orpha Krapf as an expression of our
8sympathy.
