SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Charles E. Besjak of Loami, who passed
4away on December 4, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Charles Besjak was born on February 27, 1932 in
6Springfield; his parents were Frank and Mary Knaus Besjak; he
7married Carole L. Forgas on January 7, 1956; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Charles Besjak served in the United States Army
9during the Korean War; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Charles Besjak worked as an associate in the
11Automotive Department for Sears from 1958 to 1992; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Charles Besjak was a member of Blessed Sacrament
13Church and a longtime member of the Pana Prayer Group; he
14enjoyed fishing, golfing, gardening, spending time with his
15family, and going to his grandchildren's events; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Charles Besjak was preceded in death by his
17parents; his brother, Frank Besjak; and his sisters, Mary
18Palmer and Fannie McKinzie; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Charles Besjak is survived by his wife, Carole;

1his daughters, Charlene Frank, Mary (Brett) Bolan, and Stacey
2(Neal) Malone; his sons, Andrew Besjak, Joe (Cindy) Besjak, and
3Charles (Jayne) Besjak; his 17 grandchildren; his 2
4great-grandchildren; and his several nieces, nephews, and
5cousins; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Charles E. Besjak; and
9be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Charles Besjak as an expression of
12our sympathy.
