SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of William John "Bud" Auterman, who passed
4away on December 11, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, William Auterman was born in Waterford, Wisconsin
6on October 9, 1926 to Theodore John Auterman and Edna Boldt; he
7served in the United States Army in World War II and Korea as a
8paratrooper in the 11th Airborne, finishing with the rank of
9First Lieutenant; he received his degree in accounting from the
10University of Illinois; he married Marianna See on October 6,
111951; and
 
12    WHEREAS, William Auterman worked as an accountant for
13Piere, Hunt and Curzon (now CliftonLarsonAllen); he then
14changed to the construction industry with Whetzel
15Construction, later becoming Vice-President of Cross
16Construction; and
 
17    WHEREAS, William Auterman continued to dedicate his life to
18service as a volunteer for Eastern Prairie Fire Protection
19District for numerous years; he also served as Treasurer for
20the Prairielands Council of the Boy Scouts; he loved the
21outdoors, working with his tools, and country music, but most
22of all his family and friends; and

1    WHEREAS, William Auterman was preceded in death by his
2wife, Marianna Auterman; his brother-in-law, Frank Graham; and
3his niece, Michelle Ohme; and
 
4    WHEREAS, William Auterman has a daughter, Beth Auterman,
5with a grandson, Theodore Jon Auterman; and a son, Daniel Jon
6Auterman (Jacqui), with grandchildren, Laura Phillips, Joshua
7Auterman (Danyale), and Jesse Auterman, in addition to 2
8great-grandchildren, Collin and Kolby Phillips; also surviving
9are 2 sisters, Olive Graham and Arlene (Arlen) Reynolds;
10therefore, be it
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
13William John "Bud" Auterman, and extend our sincere condolences
14to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be
15it further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of William Auterman as an expression of
18our deepest sympathy.
