SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Daniel V. Capuano, C.F.D., who passed 
4away on December 14, 2015 at the age of 42; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Daniel Capuano was a 15-year veteran with the 
6Chicago Fire Department and a member of the Evergreen Park Fire 
7Department for over 16 years; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Daniel Capuano heroically lost his life as he was 
9searching for people while battling a fire in a vacant 
10warehouse in Chicago; and
  
 

  
11    WHEREAS, Daniel Capuano was the beloved husband and best 
12friend of Julie (nee Hauser); the devoted father of Amanda, 
13Andrew, and Nicholas; the loving son of Michael and Jacquelyn 
14(nee Tassone); the dearest brother of Michael (Katherine) and 
15Patrick (Nicolette) Capuano; the dearest son-in-law of Ronald 
16and Jeanne Hauser; the fond brother-in-law of Robert (Nicole) 
17Hauser and Amy (Jeremy) Bolen; the proud uncle of Alissa, 
18Isabella, Delilah, Bodhi, Lucas, Madison, Hannah, Jacob, 
19Joshua, Joseph, and Justin; he is also survived by many loving 
20aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his dog, Paco; therefore,

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Daniel V. Capuano, C.F.D., and extend our sincere condolences 
4to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
5it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Daniel Capuano as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
