SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  William Joseph Green of Lake Forest, who 
4passed away on November 28, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, William Green proudly served in the United States 
6Armed Forces during the Vietnam War; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, William Green was a graduate of the University of 
8Notre Dame's School of Architecture and received a Master of 
9Business Administration from the Lake Forest Graduate School of 
10Management; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, As a licensed architect, William Green designed 
12and supervised residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects 
13throughout the Midwest; he also worked for 25 years as a 
14project architect with the General Services Administration; 
15and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, William Green was preceded in death by his son, 
17Thomas Joseph Green; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, William Green is survived by his wife of 39 years, 
19Joanne Green; his sons, Daniel (Melinda) and Kevin (Kimberly); 
20and his cherished granddaughter, Ella; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of William Joseph Green; 
4and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of William Green as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
