SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Edward William "Captain Bill" Bredemeier 
4of Northbrook, who passed away on December 15, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Edward Bredemeier was born in Chicago on October 
612, 1927 to Hans and Alice Bredemeier; and
  
 
  
7    WHEREAS, Edward Bredemeier was a  proud member of the United 
8States Navy after World War II, for more than 60 years;  he was 
9known by all as the Captain of his own ship, the Shangri-La; 
10and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Edward Bredemeier was the loyal brother to the 
12late Verona Nelson; the  faithful husband to the late Patti; the  
13devoted father to his 3 sons, Bill, Jr. (Barbara), Bob (Gail), 
14and Tom (Ruth);  and the loving grandpa to 10 grandchildren and 
1512 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
18Edward William "Captain Bill" Bredemeier, and extend our 
19sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew 
20and loved him; and be it further

2presented to  the family of  Edward Bredemeier as an expression 
3of our deepest sympathy.
