SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Thomas W. Keck of Collinsville, who
4passed away on January 14, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Thomas Keck was born on September 10, 1944, in St.
6Louis, Missouri; his parents were Thomas W. Keck Sr. and
7Dorothy (nee Genetti) Keck; he married Catherine "Kay" Self on
8June 3, 1967 in East St. Louis; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Thomas Keck was a United States Navy veteran who
10proudly served his country with honor; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Thomas Keck retired from Ameren Illinois as a
12lineman in 2006 after 40 years of dedicated service; he was
13also a proud member of International Brotherhood of Electrical
14Workers Local 309 in Collinsville; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Thomas Keck loved nature and was an avid
16outdoorsman who enjoyed working on his property; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Thomas Keck was preceded in death by his parents;
18and
 
19    WHEREAS, Thomas Keck is survived by his devoted wife, Kay

1Keck; his children, Michael Keck and Tina (Terry) Williams; his
2grandchildren, Lauren Keck, Lindsey Keck, Alexis Williams, and
3Avery Williams; and his many extended family members and
4friends; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Thomas W. Keck; and be
8it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Thomas Keck as an expression of our
11sympathy.
