SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Raleigh S. Francois of Creve Coeur, who 
4passed away on January 4, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Raleigh Francois was born on February 15, 1963 in 
6Moline; his parents were Joseph and Phyllis Smith Francois; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Raleigh Francois served his country as a member of 
8the United States Navy aboard the USS Saratoga; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Raleigh Francois was a union carpenter who worked 
10in the Peoria area; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Raleigh Francois was preceded in death by his 
12father; his niece, Kimberly Marie DeCock; and his nephew, Jason 
13Theuninck; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Raleigh Francois is survived by his mother, 
15Phyllis Francois; his sisters, Jeanna (Tracy) Rushing, Linda 
16(Jim) DeCock, Keri (Skip) Cramond, and Melissa (Tim) Ott; his 
17brothers, Joseph (Jan) Francois, Patrick Francois, and Todd 
18Francois; his special companion, Stephanie Probasco; and his 
19numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Raleigh S. Francois; 
4and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Raleigh Francois as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
