SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Richard C. "Dick" Lothridge of Rock 
4Island, who passed away on January 2, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Richard Lothridge was born in Rock Island to Edgar 
6and Nan (nee Stockwell) Lothridge on September 17, 1935; he 
7served in the United States Army and married Agnes "Liz" Love 
8in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 12, 1979; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Richard Lothridge retired from the former 
10International Harvester  Farmall in  Rock Island after over 23 
11years of service in 1981; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Richard Lothridge was an avid car racer; and
  
 
  
13    WHEREAS, Richard Lothridge is survived by his wife of 36 
14years, Liz; his children, Lori (Mike) Spray, Craig (Connie) 
15Lothridge, and Julie (Bruce) Gracz; his stepchildren, Debbie 
16(Phillip) Armstrong, Denise (Kerry) Lieving, and Robert 
17(Denise) Love, Jr.; his 12 grandchildren; and his 8 
18great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Richard C. "Dick" Lothridge, and extend our sincere condolences 
2to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be

4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

6of our deepest sympathy.
