SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Mary Jane Bartlow of Johnsburg, who 
4passed away on December 24, 2015; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Jane Bartlow was born on August 22, 1944 in 
6McHenry; her parents were Lewis and Dorothy (nee Hausheer) 
7Pitzen; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Mary Jane Bartlow was a long-time member of St. 
9John the Baptist Church, where she worked as a parish secretary 
10for many years; she was a member of the BVM's and the Cemetery 
11Committee; she also loved to sing and was a former member of 
12the choir at St. John the Baptist Church and the Sweet 
13Adelines; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Mary Jane Bartlow was preceded in death by her 
15parents; and

  
 
16    WHEREAS, Mary Jane Bartlow is survived by her daughter, 
17Suzann (William) O'Brien; her granddaughters, Kaleigh and 
18Madalyne O'Brien; and her siblings, Lewis (Val) Pitzen and 
19Susan Pitzen; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Mary Jane Bartlow; and 
3be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of Mary Jane Bartlow as an expression 
6of our sympathy.
