SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Catherine A. Smith of Highwood, who 
4passed away on January 15, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Catherine Smith was born in Wilmette to John W. 
6and Anna (nee Laubach) Schaefer on April 12, 1919; and
  
 


  
7    WHEREAS, Catherine Smith was the beloved wife of the late 
8Robert T. Smith; the loving mother of Robert J. (Susan) Smith; 
9the fond grandmother of James Smith, DeAnn (Thomas) Kaesler, 
10Joseph (Tina) Smith, and Tracey (David) Fontana; and the 
11great-grandmother of 9; therefore, be it
  
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
14Catherine A. Smith, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
15family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
16further
  
 
17    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
18presented to  the family of  Catherine Smith as an expression of 
19our deepest sympathy.
