SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Edward F. Blicharski of Deerfield, who passed away on January 8, 2016 at the age of 88; and

WHEREAS, Edward Blicharski served proudly in the United States Army as a paratrooper during World War II; and

WHEREAS, Edward Blicharski graduated from the University of Illinois with an architectural degree; he went on to have his own business, Edward F. Blicharski Architect; and

WHEREAS, Edward Blicharski was a member of the Chicago Society, the Polish Business Club, the Polish Art Club, the Polish Military History Society, and the Polish American Engineers Association; and

WHEREAS, Edward Blicharski was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alice Blicharski, and his sisters, Helen Mika and Marie Pasciak; and

WHEREAS, Edward Blicharski was the beloved husband of Dee; the dear brother of Evelyn Jamrozik; the loving uncle of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of Edward F. Blicharski; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Edward Blicharski as an expression of our sympathy.
