SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Michael L. Ludemann of Plainfield, who 
4passed away on February 21, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Michael Ludemann was born on November 6, 1961 in 
6Chicago; his parents were Robert T. Ludemann, Sr. and Doris 
7Ludemann; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Michael Ludemann was a dedicated Emergency 
9Vehicle Technician with the Plainfield Fire Protection 
10District since June 21, 2004; he previously served with the 
11Lockport Fire Protection District and the Downers Grove Fire 
12Department; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Michael Ludemann held numerous ASE 
14certifications, Master Technician certifications, and Level 2 
15Emergency Vehicle Technician certifications; he was also 
16awarded the 2010 EVT of the Year from the IL Fire Apparatus 
17Mechanics Association; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Michael Ludemann loved cars and was a fixture at 
19numerous car shows, especially Plainfield's Tuesday Night Car 
20Shows; and

1    WHEREAS, Michael Ludemann was preceded in death by his 
2mother; and
  
 
3    WHEREAS, Michael Ludemann is survived by his loving wife 
4and best friend, Mary (nee Czarnowski); his son, Michael L. 
5(fiancee, Jennifer Ann Fregeau) Ludemann, Jr.; his father; his 
6brothers, Robert T. (Kathy) Ludemann, Jr. and David (Gayle) 
7Ludemann; his many nieces and nephews; his parents-in-law, 
8Edward and Rosalie Czarnowski; his sisters-in-law, Diane 
9Czarnowski and Beth (Bill) Cichon; and his faithful companions, 
10Auggie, Abby, and Charlotte; therefore, be it
  
 
11    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
12ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
13family and friends, mourn the passing of Michael L. Ludemann; 
14and be it further
  
 
15    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
16presented to the family of Michael Ludemann as an expression of 
17our sympathy.
