SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Jean Ellen Haldeman of Harvard, who 
4passed away on February 15, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jean Haldeman was born on August 31, 1936 in 
6Freeport; her parents were Luther C. and Alice M. (nee Maiden) 
7Mueller; she married Jerry Haldeman on June 13, 1959 at Trinity 
8Lutheran Church in Harvard; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Jean Haldeman was an elementary school teacher who 
10taught at Jefferson Elementary School and St. Joseph Catholic 
11School in Harvard; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Jean Haldeman was a member of Trinity Lutheran 
13Church; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Jean Haldeman enjoyed sewing and cross stitching; 
15and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Jean Haldeman was preceded in death by her 
17parents; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Jean Haldeman is survived by her husband, Jerry; 
19her children, Jeff Haldeman and Julie (Gordon) Davis; her

1grandson, Michael Dickey; and her brother, David Mueller; 
2therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Jean Ellen Haldeman; 
6and be it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Jean Haldeman as an expression of 
9our sympathy.
