SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Ann Panico, who passed away on February
415, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Ann Panico was born in Chicago on July 6, 1926;
6she later moved to Berwyn and lived in Green Oaks for the past
730 years; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Ann Panico was the founder and owner of Cafe
9Pomigliano "Trattoria" in Libertyville, where she was known for
10her homemade recipes; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Ann Panico was a member of St. Joseph Parish in
12Libertyville; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Ann Panico was preceded in death by her husband,
14Patsy; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Ann Panico is survived by her 2 children, Patty
16(Nick) Saladino and Anthony (Deanna) Panico; her 7
17grandchildren, Ann Marie (Marc) Grote, Danielle (Jason)
18Wegener, Matea Ann Panico, Pasquale A. Panico, Santino Panico,
19Michael Panico, and Dominic Panico; and her 3
20great-grandchildren, Vincent, Nicholas, and Anthony;

1therefore, be it
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
4Ann Panico, and extend our sincere condolences to her family,
5friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
7presented to the family of Ann Panico as an expression of our
8deepest sympathy.
