SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  James F. "Jim" Jacobson, II of Woodstock, 
4who passed away on February 10, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, James Jacobson, II was born on October 27, 1948 in 
6Chicago; his parents were Charles E. and Dorothea (nee Ahlborn) 
7Jacobson; he married Sharon Roese on January 30, 1988 at their 
8home in Wonder Lake; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, James Jacobson, II was a 27-year veteran of the 
10Wheeling Fire Department and a volunteer firefighter for the 
11Wonder Lake Fire Protection District for 21 1/2 years; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, James Jacobson, II was an avid golfer who loved to 
13travel with his family and friends, spending many wonderful 
14summers traveling with "The Camping Group"; and

  
 
15    WHEREAS, James Jacobson, II is survived by his beloved wife 
16of 28 years, Sharon; his children, Robin (Rick) Mixon, Michael 
17(Valerie) Jacobson, Sarah (Brendan) Parker, and Heather 
18(Aaron) Kessler; his 10 grandchildren; his father, Charles E. 
19Jacobson; and siblings, John (Kay) Jacobson and Mari (Gerry) 
20Danzer; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of James F. "Jim" 
4Jacobson, II; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of James Jacobson, II as an expression 
7of our sympathy.
