SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Karin Nuelle, who passed away on January 
414, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Karin Nuelle was born at Fort Bragg, North 
6Carolina on June 9, 1952; as a result of her military 
7upbringing, she  was a former resident of many places around the 
8world, including the State of Virginia and the countries of 
9Norway and Germany; she graduated from Indiana University in 
101974 and lived in Woodstock for the past 25 years; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Karin Nuelle served for more than 2 decades as 
12Executive Director for the Illinois Head Start Association's 
13Community Action Agency for McHenry County; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Karin Nuelle was a past President of the Woodstock 
15Rotary Club; she was active in the Woodstock community, in 
16particular with the Christmas Clearing House program; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Karin Nuelle was preceded in death by her beloved 
18husband, Thomas Nuelle; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Karin Nuelle is survived by her mother, Gwynneth 
20Roberts; her 3  sisters, Pamela Roberts, Janet Bush, and Deborah

1(Matthew) Stockert; her brother, Cliff (Amy) Roberts, Jr.; and 
2her 3  stepchildren, Thomas (Carol) Nuelle, Jr., Therese (Tim) 
3Graff, and Collette (Steve) Mustain; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
6Karin Nuelle, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, 
7friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to  the family of  Karin Nuelle as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
