SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Anna E. Anderson of Crystal Lake, who 
4passed away on January 6, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Anna Anderson was born in Wapella on March 21, 
61927 to Beacher and Nancy Nichols; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Anna Anderson married Ted McMannis and settled in 
8Rockford and had a daughter, Teddy Ann; she later married  
9Robert Anderson; they lived in Crystal Lake and had Cindi and 
10Robert, Jr.; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Anna Anderson's daughter, Teddy Ann, married Ken 
12Roby and together they had Anna's 4 grandsons, Kelly, Chad, 
13Brandon, and Aaron;  Aaron married Stacey Caster and together 
14they have Anna's 2 great-grandchildren, Easton and Morgan; 
15these grandchildren and great-grandchildren made Anna very 
16proud and brought her much joy; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Anna Anderson lived in Crystal Lake for 50 years; 
18she worked at Precision Twist Drill and later Oak Industries; 
19in retirement, she  ran a home-based childcare business and 
20became the surrogate grandmother to several families; and

1    WHEREAS, Anna Anderson was an active member of First United 
2Methodist Church; she was in the same Bible study group for 30 
3years; she participated in the church's prison ministry and was 
4a frequent volunteer for McHenry County PADS; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
7Anna E. Anderson, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
9further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to  the family of  Anna Anderson as an expression of 
12our deepest sympathy.
