SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Colleen Marie Mahoney, who passed away on
4January 27, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Colleen Mahoney was born in Des Plaines to Patrick
6and Linda (nee Ohm) Mahoney on June 17, 1981; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Colleen Mahoney graduated from the McHenry County
8College SEDOM Program and lived life to the fullest; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Colleen Mahoney's passions included horseback
10riding, bowling, cooking, movies, and music; she was a
11cheerleader for her family and friends and allowed everyone
12around her to feel unique and special while enjoying every
13moment of every day; her addictive smile touched more people
14than will ever know and her angelic spirit will long be
15remembered by the lives she has touched; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Colleen Mahoney was preceded in death by her
17maternal grandfather, Ken "Papa" Ohm; her paternal
18grandparents, Michael and Patricia Mahoney; and her uncles,
19Michael Mahoney and Philip Ohm; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Colleen Mahoney is survived by her loving family,

1including her parents, Linda and Patrick; her brothers, Patrick
2and Ryan; her sister, Kelly; her maternal grandmother, Betty
3Ohm; her aunts and uncles, Michael (Marie) Ohm, Mariann
4Mahoney, Daniel (Peg) Mahoney, John "Tim" (Kathy) Mahoney,
5Joseph "Vince" (Patti) Mahoney, William (Carolyn) Mahoney, and
6Joanne Sanigrossi; and many cousins; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Colleen Marie Mahoney, and extend our sincere condolences to
10her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Colleen Mahoney as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
