SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Robert M. Noe of Moline, who passed away 
4on February 22, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Noe was born on November 16, 1929 in 
6Moline; his parents were Rene and Lucienne VanSevenandt Noe; he 
7married Patricia McGuire on October 1, 1960 in Davenport; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Robert Noe was a United States Army veteran who 
9served in the Korean War; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Robert Noe retired from the former Iowa-Illinois 
11Gas and Electric Company in December of 1991; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Robert Noe was a member of Sacred Heart Church in 
13Moline, the Catholic Order of Forester Sacred Heart Court 1691, 
14the Ex-Servicemen's Club, the Friend's Circle Club, and 
15American Legion Post 246 in Moline; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Robert Noe enjoyed playing rolle bolle and golf 
17and was an avid sports fan; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Robert Noe was preceded in death by his wife, 
19Patricia; and

1    WHEREAS, Robert Noe is survived by his children, Linda Noe, 
2Bob Noe, John (Vera) Noe, and Christine (Jeff) Adams; his 
3grandchildren, Nick, Aubrey (Jay) Ali, Anna, Ashley, Samantha 
4(Chris), Patty, Cara, A.J., and Jake; his great-grandchildren, 
5Henry, Justis, and Haven; and his sister, MaryAnn Johannsen; 
6therefore, be it
  
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
9family and friends, mourn the passing of Robert M. Noe; and be 
10it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the family of Robert Noe as an expression of our 
13sympathy.
