SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Grace Drasler of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on February 20, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Grace Drasler was born on May 11, 1924 in 
6Waukegan, where she remained a lifelong resident; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Grace Drasler was a member of St. Bartholomew 
8Church, now part of Most Blessed Trinity Parish, in Waukegan; 
9and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Grace Drasler was preceded in death by her 
11husband, William; her sister, Minnie; her brother, Frank; and 
12her parents, Michael and Antoinette; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Grace Drasler is survived by her son, Michael 
14(Anne) Drasler; her 3 grandchildren, Benjamin (Laura Portera), 
15Victoria (Rob Pluta), and Logan; her 3 nephews, Fr. Bill 
16Zavaski, Fr. Robert Bracaskas, and Frank (Jill) Zavaski; her 
17special great-niece, Julian Zavaski; and many nieces and 
18nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Grace Drasler, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
