SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Robert L. Wieder of McHenry, who passed
4away on November 19, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Wieder was born in Highland Park to Lyle
6and Elizabeth (Heinz) Wieder on May 6, 1924; he married
7Jacqueline Butow in Evanston on April 23, 1949; he served with
8the United States Navy during World War II in the South Pacific
9and had the privilege of going on the Honor Flight to
10Washington D.C. in October of 2010; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Robert Wieder worked for 50 years as a plumber
12with Local 130; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Robert Wieder enjoyed golfing, watching football,
14NASCAR, and fixing things around the house; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Robert Wieder was preceded in death by his wife,
16Jacqueline, and his parents; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Robert Wieder is survived by his children, Gary
18Wieder, Debbie (Jim) Harding, Kathryn (Christopher) Harrison,
19and Craig Wieder; his grandchildren, Ryan (Jackie) Harding,
20Mike (Melodie) Harding, Chris (Robin) Harding, Dylan Wieder,

1Thomas Wieder, and Victoria Wieder; his 11
2great-grandchildren; and his brothers and sisters, Virginia
3(Steve) Shambaugh, Ernest Wieder, and Joanne Wellauer;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Robert L. Wieder, and extend our sincere condolences to his
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Robert Wieder as an expression of
12our deepest sympathy.
