| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Joseph A. Karijolich of Cary, who passed |
| 4 | | away on February 29, 2016; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Karijolich was born in Yugoslavia to Joseph |
| 6 | | and Ivka Karijolich on March 19, 1930; he married Barbara A. |
| 7 | | Staehle in Chicago on May 12, 1951 and served in the military |
| 8 | | during the Korean War; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Karijolich was a member of the Crystal Lake |
| 10 | | Veterans of Foreign Wars; he was active at St. Barnabas |
| 11 | | Lutheran Church, where he volunteered with the Meals on Wheels |
| 12 | | program and the Cary Food Pantry; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Joseph Karijolich is survived by his wife, |
| 14 | | Barbara; his children, Karen (Bill) Osmanski, Mike (Laurel) |
| 15 | | Karijolich, and Tom (Denise) Karijolich; his grandchildren, |
| 16 | | Will, Kevin, Alison (Frank), John (Katie), Rachel, Ryan |
| 17 | | (Carla), and Steven (Maki); his great-grandchildren, Rose and |
| 18 | | Lydia; and his sister, Rosemary Miller-Sarich; therefore, be it

| 19 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
