SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Joseph A. Karijolich of Cary, who passed
4away on February 29, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Joseph Karijolich was born in Yugoslavia to Joseph
6and Ivka Karijolich on March 19, 1930; he married Barbara A.
7Staehle in Chicago on May 12, 1951 and served in the military
8during the Korean War; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Joseph Karijolich was a member of the Crystal Lake
10Veterans of Foreign Wars; he was active at St. Barnabas
11Lutheran Church, where he volunteered with the Meals on Wheels
12program and the Cary Food Pantry; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Joseph Karijolich is survived by his wife,
14Barbara; his children, Karen (Bill) Osmanski, Mike (Laurel)
15Karijolich, and Tom (Denise) Karijolich; his grandchildren,
16Will, Kevin, Alison (Frank), John (Katie), Rachel, Ryan
17(Carla), and Steven (Maki); his great-grandchildren, Rose and
18Lydia; and his sister, Rosemary Miller-Sarich; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
21Joseph A. Karijolich, and extend our sincere condolences to his

3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4presented to the family of Joseph Karijolich as an expression
