SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Darlene D. Oertley of rural Princeville, 
4who passed away on March 5, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Darlene Oertley was born on November 9, 1924 in 
6Peoria; her parents were Albert and Rhoda Moran Mitchell; she 
7married Charles F. "Buck" Oertley on September 1, 1956 in 
8Princeville; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Darlene Oertley enjoyed cooking and mowing her 
10yard; she was a member of Stark Congregational Church and the 
11Wyoming American Legion Post 91 Women's Auxiliary; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Darlene Oertley was preceded in death by her 
13husband, Charles; her parents; and nine of her brothers and 
14sisters; and

  
 
15    WHEREAS, Darlene Oertley is survived by her daughter, Barb 
16(Bill) Baumann; her grandchildren, Michael, Patricia, 
17Christopher, Kevin, and Carol Baumann; her sister, Alberta 
18(Bill) Murphy; and her many nieces and nephews; therefore, be 
19it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Darlene D. Oertley;

5presented to the family of Darlene Oertley as an expression of 
6our sympathy.
