SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Sharon R. Ciarlette of Joliet, who passed
4away on March 14, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Sharon Ciarlette was born in Joliet to James E.
6and Helen J. (Gay) Conroy on August 9, 1938; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Sharon Ciarlette retired in 2004 after 35 years of
8service with the Crawford Bus Company; she was also employed at
9Inwood Golf Course for five years and was a bowling coach for
10Town and Country Bowling for 35 years; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Sharon Ciarlette was an avid golfer and bowler and
12enjoyed teaching children how to bowl; she was named "Bowling
13Coach of the Year" in 2005 and was inducted into the Joliet
14Area Bowling Hall of Fame in 2006; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Sharon Ciarlette was preceded in death by her
16parents; her two siblings, Georgia Scheidt and William Conroy;
17and her brother-in-law, Donald Conroy; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Sharon Ciarlette is survived by her loving husband
19of 58 years, Leonard G. Ciarlette; her three children, Kimberly
20(Jeffrey) Parthun, Leonard J. (Lee Ann) Ciarlette, and Angela

1Ciarlette; her seven grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jr., Lauren (Tim)
2Hatke, Christopher and Jessica Parthun, and Nichole, Matthew
3(Melissa), and Mark Ciarlette; her great-granddaughter,
4Raelynn Hatke; her three siblings, Gene (Eileen) Conroy, James
5(Marilyn) Conroy, and Patricia Conroy; and many nieces and
6nephews; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Sharon R. Ciarlette, and extend our sincere condolences to her
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Sharon Ciarlette as an expression of
14our deepest sympathy.
