| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of John Clancy, who passed away on February |
| 4 | | 27, 2016; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, John Clancy served in the United States Navy |
| 6 | | during World War II; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, John Clancy was a 65-year member, instructor, and |
| 8 | | officer of Sprinkler Fitters Labor Union 281; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, John Clancy was preceded in death by his wife, |
| 10 | | Joan; and
|
| 11 | | WHEREAS, John Clancy is the devoted father of Kevin (Mary |
| 12 | | Patt), Kerry (Karen), and Kim (Kevin) Collins; the cherished |
| 13 | | grandfather of 13; and the proud great-grandfather
of 8; |
| 14 | | therefore, be it

| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 16 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 17 | | John Clancy, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, |
| 18 | | friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
