SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of David G. "Whitey" Gregory, who passed 
4away on March 15, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, David Gregory was born on April 27, 1959; he 
6graduated from Joliet West High School in 1977; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, David Gregory was a  Local 444 Ironworker until 
8starting his own construction and commercial development 
9business; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, David Gregory played semi-pro hockey and loved to 
11golf; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, David Gregory was preceded in death by his mother, 
13Constance (Karstens) Gregory; his brother, Douglas E. Gregory; 
14and his mother-in-law, Josephine Kabat; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, David Gregory is survived by his wife, Kimberly 
16(Kabat); his children, Molly and David Parker Gregory; his 
17father, Ronald J. Gregory Sr.; his sister, Joyce Gregory; his 
18four brothers, Timothy (Kim), Patrick (Nancy), Donald "Doc" 
19(Kim), and Ronald; his sister-in-law, Roberta Gregory; his 
20brother-in-law, Greg Kabat; and many nephews, nieces, aunts,

1uncles, cousins, and friends; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4David G. "Whitey" Gregory, and extend our sincere condolences 
5to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
6it further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  David Gregory as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
