SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Fred G. Utroska of Geneva, who passed 
4away on March 15, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Fred Utroska was born in Clinton, Iowa to Fred and 
6Cecil Utroska on October 18, 1924; he served in the United 
7States  Navy during World War II in the South Pacific aboard the 
8USS Ingraham DD-694; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Fred Utroska was employed in various fields, 
10retiring from the Elmhurst Chicago Stone Company after 25 years 
11of service; he served as an Alderman of the 5th Ward in St. 
12Charles and contributed to the community; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Fred Utroska was a member of the St. Charles 
14Veterans of Foreign Wars and the St. Charles American Legion; 
15and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Fred Utroska was preceded in death by his parents 
17and his wife, Beverly; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Fred Utroska is survived by his son, Jeff (Dana) 
19Utroska; his grandchildren, Christopher (Rachael Liberman) 
20Utroska and Patrick (Emily) Utroska; his two

1great-grandchildren, Ollie and Parker Utroska; his special 
2friend, Joyce Nelson; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, 
3and neighbors; therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
6Fred G. Utroska, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
8further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to  the family of  Fred Utroska as an expression of our 
11deepest sympathy.
