SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of James McGing of Edison Park, who passed 
4away on March 23, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, James McGing was born on January 3, 1929; he was a 
6native of Churchfield, Tourmakeady, County Mayo, Ireland; and
  
 

  
7    WHEREAS, James McGing was a retired 50+ year member of 
8Plumbers Union Local 130; and
 
9    WHEREAS, James McGing was preceded in death by his twin 
10brother,
Austin; his brothers, Pat and Phil; his sisters, Nuala 
11Lally and
May Lally; his brothers-in-law, Morris Hillstead, 
12Peter Lally,
and Tom Lally; and his sister-in-law, Sarah 
13McGing; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, James McGing is survived by his beloved wife, 
15Catherine (Heneghan); his daughters, Bridget and Mary 
16(Patrick)
O'Malley; his sons, James (Brenda) and Austin McGing; 
17his
grandchildren, Maureen, Maura, James, Patrick, Liam, and 
18Hugh;
his brother, John; his sisters, Ann Donnelly and Bea 
19Hillstead;
and his sister-in-law, Bridget McGing; therefore,

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3James McGing, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, 
4friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  James McGing as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
