SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  William L. Brown of Gillespie, who passed 
4away on March 28, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, William Brown was born on January 26, 1936 in 
6Mount Clare; his parents were William Brown and Emma Jane 
7Brown; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, William Brown retired as a laborer for Laclede 
9Steel Mill after many years of service; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, William Brown was a member of the Progressive Club 
11in Wilsonville; he enjoyed wrestling, bingo, and sports; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, William Brown was preceded in death by his 
13parents; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, William Brown is survived by his brothers, Norman 
15Brown, Donald (Kathy) Brown, and Robert (Debra) Brown; his 
16sisters, Patty Frensko, Mary Ann (Walt) Goode, Margaret (Mike) 
17Paddock, and Nancy (Kent) Bearden; his uncle, Robert (Mary Lou) 
18Brown; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of William L. Brown; and 
3be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of William Brown as an expression of 
6our sympathy.
