SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Linda Sue McGuire of rural Carrollton, 
4who passed away on March 22, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Linda McGuire was born on August 31, 1945 in 
6Carrollton; her parents were Zoda and Marjorie Becker Richter; 
7she married Robert Bruce McGuire on May 2, 1964 in Carrollton; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Linda McGuire was a member of the Our Redeemer 
10Church in Carrollton; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Linda McGuire enjoyed painting and drawing; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Linda McGuire was preceded in death by her 
13husband, Robert; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Linda McGuire is survived by her children, Kris 
15McGuire and Robin Meyer (companion, Lamar Stapleton); her 
16grandchildren, Colt Nathanial and Skyler Zo Meyer; her sister, 
17Judy (Daryl) Riechmann; and her brother, Jerry (Norma) Richter; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with her 
2family and friends, mourn the passing of Linda Sue McGuire; and 
3be it further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
5presented to the family of Linda McGuire as an expression of 
6our sympathy.
