SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of James N. Vaughn of East Moline, who 
4passed away on April 13, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, James Vaughn was born in Mill Grove, Missouri to 
6Waldo "Joe" and Violet Smith Vaughn on November 10, 1934; he 
7served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and 
8married Anna Gramling in East Moline on May 21, 1955; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, James Vaughn retired from Illinois Bell as a 
10technician; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, James Vaughn was preceded in death by his wife, 
12Anna; his son, Michael; and his grandson, Jason; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, James Vaughn is survived by his children, Terri 
14(LeeRoy) Arnold, Debbie Johnson, and Janice Vaughn; his 
15grandchildren, Shawn (Tanika) Arnold, Jamie (Julie) Arnold, 
16Chris (Andrea) Arnold, Joe (Angie) Johnson, and Rob (Kimmy) 
17Johnson; his great-grandchildren, Aaron, Kaylee, Kayli, 
18Trenton, Evayla, Travon, Alanis, CJ, Anthony, Zachary, Haylie 
19(Tim), Hope, Jazmin, and Evin; and his  great-great-grandson, 
20Mason; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3James N. Vaughn, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  James Vaughn as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
