SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Lawrence J. Sweet of East Moline, who 
4passed away on April 12, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Lawrence Sweet was born on June 7, 1944 in Moline; 
6and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Lawrence Sweet was a United States Air Force 
8veteran, having served from 1965 to 1971; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Lawrence Sweet worked as a computer programmer for 
10John Deere for many years; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Lawrence Sweet was preceded in death by his 
12parents and his sister, Shirley Duncan; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Lawrence Sweet is survived by his daughter, Laurie 
14(Michael) Weese; his grandchildren, Jack, Addison, and Norah 
15Weese; his brothers, Dave and Robert Sweet; and his sisters, 
16Donna Scoville and Judy Long; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
19family and friends, mourn the passing of Lawrence J. Sweet; and
