SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Robert F. Harmon, Jr. of Milan, who 
4passed away on April 10, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Harmon, Jr. was born in Chicago to Robert 
6and Florence (Patterson) Harmon, Sr. on April 19, 1930; he 
7married Barbara Tobin in Moline on October 21, 1951; he served 
8in the United States Navy; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Robert Harmon, Jr. was employed in the shipping 
10and receiving department at Alcoa for 42 years, retiring in 
11July of 1992; and
  
 

  
12    WHEREAS, Robert Harmon, Jr. is survived by his wife of 64 
13years, Barbara; his children, Robbi Schlitz, Gary Harmon, Craig 
14(Sheryl) Harmon, Keith Harmon, and Neil Harmon; his 9 
15grandchildren; and his 12 great-grandchildren; therefore, be 
16it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19Robert F. Harmon, Jr., and extend our sincere condolences to 
20his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
