SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  John "Johnny Angel" Norris, who passed 
4away on April 13, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, John Norris was born on November 9, 1945 in 
6Chicago; his parents were John and Virginia Norris; he married 
7Jennifer Neuman on January 18, 1992 in Waukegan; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, John Norris proudly served in the United States 
9Army Reserve; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, John Norris lived in River Grove before settling 
11in Antioch in 1991; he had worked as a Business Agent and was a 
12proud member of Sheet Metal Workers' Union Local 73 for over 46 
13years until his retirement in 2006; and

  
 
14    WHEREAS, John Norris is survived by his loving wife of 24 
15years, Jennifer; his daughters, Christine and Kim; his stepson, 
16Eric (Karin Moore) Neuman; his sisters, Judy (Ralph) Henrich 
17and Margaret Rajski; his mother-in-law, Marge Johnson; his 
18brothers-in-law, Wade (Sally) Johnson and David (Dora) 
19Johnson; his adoring grandchildren, Abigail and Wyatt Flade; 
20and many nieces, nephews, and friends; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of John "Johnny Angel" 
4Norris; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of John Norris as an expression of our 
7sympathy.
