SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Glenn D. Cushing of Maple Park, who
4passed away on December 22, 2015; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Glenn Cushing was born on July 4, 1948 in Batavia;
6his parents were Ray and Mildred Cushing; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Glenn Cushing graduated from Batavia High School
8in 1967 and remained an avid fan of the Batavia Bulldogs all
9his life; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Glenn Cushing worked as a sales representative for
11the Geneva Bottling Works for many years; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Glenn Cushing was preceded in death by his parents
13and his father-in-law, William McConnaughay; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Glenn Cushing is survived by his wife of 28 years,
15Catherine "Kiki"; his sister, Leah; his mother-in-law,
16Rosemary McConnaughay; his brother-in-law, John (Karen)
17McConnaughay; his sisters-in-law, Janet (Leo) McCormick and
18Margaret (Michael) McDonnell; his nieces and nephews, Chris and
19Sean Smudde, Garrett Steve, Kate (Mitch) Radman, Madeline
20(Derek) Stierwalt, Catherine Smudde, and Courtney (Jake)

1Finley; his six great-grandnieces; and his dear friends, Jim
2and Sylvia Roberts; therefore, be it
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
5family and friends, mourn the passing of Glenn D. Cushing; and
6be it further
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8presented to the family of Glenn Cushing as an expression of
9our sympathy.
