SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Albert L. Hall, Jr. of Kenosha,
4Wisconsin, formerly of Waukegan, who passed away on March 9,
52016; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Albert Hall, Jr. was born on June 17, 1926 in
7Chicago; his parents were Albert L., Sr. and Oprah Hall; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Albert Hall, Jr. was raised in Waukegan and
9graduated from Lake Forest Academy, the University of Illinois,
10and Northwestern Law School; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Albert Hall, Jr. served with the United States
12Navy in World War II; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Albert Hall, Jr. was an attorney with his father's
14law firm, which was founded in 1922; after retiring, he served
15as "of counsel" for the Bollman, Lesser, and Leetrey law firm
16in Lake Forest; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Albert Hall, Jr. enjoyed golf, tennis, fishing,
18bridge, coin collecting, and woodcarving; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Albert Hall, Jr. was a member of the

1Waukegan-North Chicago Chamber of Commerce, the City Club, the
2Lake County Coin Club, the Waukegan Community Players, the
3ACLU, the Glen Flora Country Club, the Lake County Bar
4Association, and the LFFB and PP Group; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Albert Hall, Jr. was preceded in death by his son,
6Judge David Hall; his granddaughter, Meagan Hall; and two
7sisters; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Albert Hall, Jr. is survived by his wife of 68
9years, Catherine Hall; his daughters, Terry Hall, Maggie Hall,
10and Diane (Jonathan) Pendergrast; his five grandchildren; and
11his four great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
12    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
13ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
14family and friends, mourn the passing of Albert L. Hall, Jr.;
15and be it further
 
16    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17presented to the family of Albert Hall, Jr. as an expression of
18our sympathy.
