SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Fred Borron Lindsey, who passed away on
4March 30, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Fred Lindsey was born in Alabama on July 6, 1924;
6and
 
7    WHEREAS, Fred Lindsey served during World War II and was
8awarded the Purple Heart; he was thrilled to take the Honor
9Flight to Washington, D.C. to visit the World War II Memorial;
10and
 
11    WHEREAS, Fred Lindsey was preceded in death by his wife,
12Marie (Doucette); his grandson, Keith Cox; his brothers,
13Alfred, Ellis, and Hugh; and his sister, June (Lindsey) Reeves;
14and
 
15    WHEREAS, Fred Lindsey is survived by his 5 children, Linda
16(Lindsey) Self, Fred Lindsey, Pam (Ken) Cox, Dave (Nancy)
17Lindsey, and Bob Lindsey; his 7 grandchildren; and his 8
18great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Fred Borron Lindsey, and extend our sincere condolences to his
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
3further
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
