SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Joseph P. Mullen of Libertyville, who
4passed away on April 22, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Joseph Mullen was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to
6Richard and Virginia Mullen on September 9, 1954; he grew up in
7Lake Bluff and attended the School of St. Mary, Lake Forest
8High School, and Southern Illinois University; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Joseph Mullen worked at the Illinois Department of
10Transportation; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Joseph Mullen's passions were trading commodities
12at the MidAmerica Commodity Exchange and traveling to Colorado;
13and
 
14    WHEREAS, Joseph Mullen is survived by his wife, Carolyn;
15his son, James "Jamie"; his three sisters, Margaret Mullen
16(Frank Springer), Kathy Mullen, and Teresa "Tess" Mullen
17(Johnny Mars); his two brothers, Robert Mullen and Richard
18Mullen (Liz Sanders); and many nieces and nephews; therefore,
19be it
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
2Joseph P. Mullen, and extend our sincere condolences to his
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
4further
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
6presented to the family of Joseph Mullen as an expression of
7our deepest sympathy.
