SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Teresa "TT" Hooker, who passed away on 
4April 26, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Teresa Hooker was born in Lexington, Mississippi 
6to
Willie and Olivia Hooker on February 21, 1970; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Teresa Hooker graduated from Jacob J. McClain High

8School in 1988; she earned her bachelor's degree
in computer 
9science and technology from Jackson State University in  1995; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Teresa Hooker was a member of
Newport Baptist 
12Church; she loved to draw and bring joy to others through

13pictures; she was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and 
14friend; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Teresa Hooker was preceded in death by her father, 
16Willie Hooker Jr.; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Teresa Hooker is survived by her two children, 
18Tarisha (Jason) Catchings
and Reginald Kimbrough Jr.; her two 
19grandchildren, Jaden Jones and
Jason Catchings Jr.; her fiance, 
20Reginald Kimbrough Sr.; her mother, Olivia
Hooker; her two

1sisters, Beatrice Hooker and Lucretia Newman; her brother,

2Willie (Melissa) Hooker III; and a host of nieces and nephews; 
3therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
6Teresa "TT" Hooker, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
8further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to  the family of  Teresa Hooker as an expression of 
11our deepest sympathy.
