SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of  Roger H. Sass, Sr. of Woodstock, who 
4passed away on April 12, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Roger Sass, Sr. was born on September 4, 1943 in 
6Chicago; his parents were Louis and Katherine Sass; he married 
7Darlene R. Bean on October 25, 1969 in Marengo; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Roger Sass, Sr. was a member of the McHenry County 
9Farm Bureau and the Marengo Snowgoers; he was an agricultural 
10farmer; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Roger Sass, Sr. enjoyed fishing and spending time 
12with his family and friends; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Roger Sass, Sr. was preceded in death by his 
14parents; his wife, Darlene; his brother, Louis Sass; and his 
15special friend, Linda Beu; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Roger Sass, Sr. is survived by his children, Roger 
17Sass, Jr., Renee Sass, and Michelle (Peter) Davies; his 
18grandchildren, Peter Davies, Jr. and Benjamin Davies; and his 
19sister, Hazel Schultz; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his 
3family and friends, mourn the passing of Roger H. Sass, Sr.; 
4and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Roger Sass, Sr. as an expression of 
7our sympathy.
