SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of John H. Mooncotch, who passed away on
4March 7, 2016, at the age of 90; and
 
5    WHEREAS, John Mooncotch served in the United States Marine
6Corps at Iwo Jima during World War II; and
 
7    WHEREAS, John Mooncotch was the founder of LaGrange Crane
8Service, Inc. in Hodgkins; and
 
9    WHEREAS, John Mooncotch was the beloved husband of 52 years
10of Judith A. (Hish) Mooncotch; the loving father of Mary Kay
11(the late Randy) Musick, Diane (Steve) Fennessey, Brenda (the
12late Dennis) Parzygnat, Julie (James) St. Clair, John H.
13(Wendy) Mooncotch Jr., Thomas (Elizabeth) Mooncotch, Lisa
14(Charles) Marik, John Paul (Mary Jo) Mooncotch, Freda
15Mooncotch, and Judi (Toni) Mooncotch; the devoted grandfather
16of 24; the great-grandfather of 5; the dear brother of the late
17Thomas (Linda) Mooncotch, Betty Hickey, and Bernice Wallace;
18and uncle to many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
21John H. Mooncotch, and extend our sincere condolences to his
