SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Timothy R. Butcher of Huntley, who passed
4away on May 6, 2016; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher was born on August 22, 1970 in
6Aledo; his parents were Donald W. and Joyce E. Butcher; he
7married Anne K. Yuen on May 25, 2002 in Barrington; the couple
8made their home in Wheaton and later Blaine, Minnesota, before
9moving to Huntley in 2008; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher was raised and educated in Aledo,
11graduating from Aledo High School in 1988; he enlisted in the
12United States Army and served for three years before
13transferring to the Army National Guard; he then graduated
14Magna Cum Laude from Northern Illinois University with a
15Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher was employed at Wells Fargo
17Advisors in Woodstock; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher enjoyed golf, skiing, and
19coaching his children's baseball, basketball, and softball
20teams; he was also involved with the stewardship and men's
21ministries at Willow Creek Community Church as well as mission

1trips through various faith-based organizations; and
 
2    WHEREAS, Timothy Butcher is survived by his wife, Anne; his
3son, Tyler; his daughter, Reagan; his father; his brothers,
4Jeff (Carol) Butcher and Ron (Lisa) Butcher; and several nieces
5and nephews; therefore, be it
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
8family and friends, mourn the passing of Timothy R. Butcher;
9and be it further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Timothy Butcher as an expression of
12our sympathy.
