SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Frank J. Savaglio of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on February 7, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Frank Savaglio  was born in Waukegan on July 25, 
61923 to Ralph and Mary (Laffredi) Savaglio and remained a 
7lifelong resident; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Frank Savaglio  served in the United States Army 
9during World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple 
10Heart for fighting in the Battle of the Bulge; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Frank Savaglio  was a member of Immaculate 
12Conception Parish and the American Legion; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Frank Savaglio  was preceded in death by his 
14parents; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Frank Savaglio  is survived by his nieces and 
16nephews, Alan (Amy) Olson, James (Donnamaria) Katalinich, 
17Jackie (Jerry) Grana, and Lynn (Everett Lewis) Zakand, and by 
18many great-nieces and nephews and their families; therefore, be

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Frank J. Savaglio, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Frank Savaglio  as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
