SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Kenneth P. Miller of Woodstock, who 
4passed away on April 22, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller was born in Chicago to Paul and 
6Hilda (Bauermann) Miller on August 4, 1936; he served in the 
7United States Army from 1958 until 1962 as part of an armored 
8division stationed in Germany and Fort Knox, Kentucky; he 
9married Corinne Clesen in Arlington Heights on June 19, 1959; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller worked for Country Financial for 30 
12years as a Claims Adjuster in McHenry, Lake, and Boone 
13Counties; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller enjoyed working on his computer, 
15organizing family photos and doing genealogy; he loved his 
16dogs, Mitzi and Sparky; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller was preceded in death by his 
18parents; his in-laws, Mary and Arthur Clesen; and an infant 
19daughter, Michelle; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Kenneth Miller is survived by his wife of 56

1years, Corinne; his son, Brett Miller; his daughter, Laura 
2Gorski; his three granddaughters, Amanda, Madeline, and Grace 
3Gorski; his brother, Chuck (Tina) Miller; and his sister, 
4Caroline (Carl) Davis; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
7Kenneth P. Miller, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
9further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to  the family of  Kenneth Miller as an expression of 
12our deepest sympathy.
