SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Corwin S. Freeman, Jr. of Elgin and
4Peachtree City, Georgia, who passed away on May 14, 2016 at the
5age of 68; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Corwin Freeman, Jr. was born in Elmhurst and
7raised in Naperville; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Corwin Freeman, Jr. was a proud member of the
9United States Marine Corps; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Corwin Freeman, Jr. excelled in the financial
11planning industry as President of Valley Estate Planners, Ltd.;
12and
 
13    WHEREAS, Corwin Freeman, Jr. was an enthusiastic Life and
14Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table since 1981,
15with Top of the Table production of this elite group of
16financial planners; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Corwin Freeman, Jr. enjoyed traveling with his
18family, Jimmy Buffett, Notre Dame sports, and playing Bridge
19and other card games; and

1    WHEREAS, Corwin Freeman, Jr. is survived by his wife,
2Cynthia Lea Freeman; his daughters, Carrie, Katie, and
3Courtney; his brothers, John, Terry, and Chris; and his sister,
4Mary Katherine; therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his
7family and friends, mourn the passing of Corwin S. Freeman,
8Jr.; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Corwin Freeman, Jr. as an expression
11of our sympathy.
