| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of John "Jack" Russell Whitney of Woodstock, |
| 4 | | who passed away on May 12, 2016; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, John Whitney will be fondly remembered as a |
| 6 | | decorated Army officer, a highly awarded architect, a |
| 7 | | successful financial advisor, a gifted orator, and a truly |
| 8 | | exemplary husband, father, and grandfather; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, John Whitney was the beloved husband of Ann |
| 10 | | Rosenbaum; the beloved father of Ian, Loren, and Andrew |
| 11 | | Whitney; and the beloved grandfather of Aidan, Evan, Oliver, |
| 12 | | Taylor, and Schmoo; therefore, be it
|
| 13 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL |
| 14 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his |
| 15 | | family and friends, mourn the passing of John "Jack" Russell |
| 16 | | Whitney; and be it further

| 17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 | | presented to the family of John Whitney as an expression of our |
| 19 | | sympathy.
