SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Valerie Hoff Hagedorn of Des Plaines, who 
4passed away on May 7, 2016; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Valerie Hagedorn was born in Chicago on July 17, 
61922; and
  
 
  
7    WHEREAS, Valerie Hagedorn was a longtime member of the Des 
8Plaines Senior Center; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Valerie Hagedorn was preceded in death by her 
10sister, Elaine, and her brother-in-law, Stanely Neal; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Valerie Hagedorn was the beloved mother of Richard 
12W. Hagedorn (Linda Segal) and Cheryl L. Hagedorn; the proud 
13grandmother of Christy (Brock) Frederick, Jackie (Jeffrey) 
14Hopper, Richard C. (Caroline) Hagedorn, and Amber E. Cook; the 
15great-grandmother of Natalie Hopper, Grant, Kate, and Julianne 
16Frederick. and Gianna Cook; and the loving aunt of Sandra 
17Hensley; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Valerie Hagedorn, and extend our sincere condolences to her

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
